About Sarah Horton
Sarah Horton is an Osteopathic Manual Practitioner with a background in human movement, sport science, rehabilitation, and functional anatomy. Her work is grounded in thoughtful assessment, clear clinical reasoning, and a whole-body approach to healing and recovery.
A strong foundation in movement, rehabilitation, and care
Prior to training in Osteopathic Manual Therapy, Sarah earned a Bachelor of Human Movement and Sport Science in Australia. She applied her knowledge of biomechanical assessment, exercise therapy, and injury rehabilitation across clinical, industrial, and athletic settings.
Her background includes work in stroke rehabilitation, falls prevention, movement analysis, occupational health, and sports medicine with junior, club, and state-level teams. Working with diverse patient populations has deepened her understanding of how the body adapts and responds across different stages of life.
Her path to osteopathy
Sarah’s path to osteopathy grew from a longstanding interest in the physiology and mechanics of the human body, along with a desire to work directly with people in a more meaningful and integrated way.
Over time, that path developed into a commitment to practicing beyond symptom management, helping patients improve overall function and supporting the body’s capacity for self-healing. This whole-body perspective continues to shape the way she assesses, treats, and supports each person who comes into her care.
